IN GENERAL is it better for someone with high functioning autism to date someone else with a disability?
Also, would it be better if it were a different type of disability? Or would it be better for someone with autism to date a very patient, understanding person without any challenges? I understand people with autism are in relationships with all sorts of people.

I'm 37 and have never been on a date.
Whilst I have no diagnosis of anything perhaps something may be up.
My non-professional, personal take... is that a person should take what date they can (as long as the person isn't a creeper).
I mean I know it's trial-and-error, but to at least go out vs. "never," I can't imagine.
I think a person should take what they can get.
I.e. the question makes me think that the person in question has the option of either... and perhaps either could fail... or succeed. :-)

If they are “ high functioning “ it shouldnt matter. All kinds of people are attracted to each other. Its a very individual thing.

I am an Aspie, and I think disabled people are more interesting than most.

That would vary person to person.
Have you prayed to GOD and asked GOD about this?
