How will the NRA spin Open Carry Texas failing to deter and defend against a mass shooter?

The NRA will rightly claim that the mall where the shooting occurred is designated as a Gun Free Zone, and that requires Texans not to bring their guns in and thus be defenseless sheep.

When will Gun Free Zone advocates learn that they don't protect people.

They will say we need to require every man woman and child to carry a gun.

I told Texas they should have made mass shootings illegal. If they were anything like California this would have never happened.

How would YOU defend against an assailant if you were there? Especially since banning and confiscating semi-auto firearms will result in................criminals still having them.

Every man, woman, and child needs to carry around an AR-15 at all times. Don't let only the criminals have them!

The Walmart in El Paso was another gun free zone. LOL

Update: I posted the link again since you were too thick to read it the first time you alleged a falsehood. LOL

Update 2: "At Walmart, the official company policy regarding open carry is that customers are allowed to bring visible handguns into the store, but that store staff are responsible for verifying that the customer has a proper license for the weapon.

If you’re curious just how that works out for everybody involved, check out this video, posted by Open Carry Texas, of an encounter at the Walmart in Devine between an openly carrying patron and an employee who requests his license."
