Yet his supporters keep pretending it isn’t so and still cheer his racist hate rhetoric.

First of all, do we really know who this person is, and what are his political leanings, if any? Also, is he mentally ill?

Secondly, we have problems with BOTH the extreme right and left; and too few of our politicians are moderate. So, each fringe engages in hatred towards others, and there are going to be consequences if we don't get reasonable and flexible people into our government once again.

Roughly 10% of Americans hold Extreme Right views. Before 9/11 it was Far Right homegrown terrorism that was the major fear. Then 9/11 happened, and everyone stopped worrying about Far Right Fascist terrorists . These people have been allowed to expand their numbers, stockpile weapons, and build fortified compounds while most Americans were distracted by our focus on defeating Islamic Extremism. This is not coming out of nowhere. The Extreme Right has been planning something like this for years. They are not "just another political movement" and they are not "thinkers with alternative ideas" they are TERRORISTS and need to be called such.
