I've used both jarred garlic and fresh garlic and I definitely prefer fresh garlic. Has a better taste and lasts way longer so I can buy in bulk and not have to worry about it. I also have an amazing garlic crusher so it makes my life super easy!

Jarred garlic is very handy for a quick addition to the meal or sauces. Fresh is almost always better but it’s great when you don’t have that extra prep time. Jars keep “fresh” for several months

I have, yes. But I like fresh garlic better of the garlic frozen in cubes. And how long the jar lasts depends on how large it is.

YUCK!! The stuff is awful! If you're too lazy to peel fresh garlic bulbs do what I do. You can buy packages of fresh peeled garlic in the produce section of supermarkets which is indistinguishable from the bulbs and saves time and trouble. The jarred stuff is like liquid smoke: awful!!

Yes, I use the jars of minced garlic, it varies how long it lasts though, depends how often I use it.

I use both fresh and jarred. The jarred garlic will last a long time (several months) in the fridge and it's definitely convenient. (I buy the small jars since I'm only cooking for two.) The fresh garlic has a slightly better flavor.

I do, the stuff in water, not oil.
How long it lasts depends on fast you use it.
or do you mean how long it stays good?...I have no idea because I use a lot of garlic so I have never had it spoil on me.

I can taste the preservative in the jarred garlic so not a fan of it. But I am a fine of ginger garlic paste for many recipes (Asian, Indian esp).

I enjoy cooking when my wife lets me. We use quite a bit of it because we like it. Not everyone does. But the big jars even with us last a couple of months.

I have tried it once. I thought it was pretty convenient, but I like you, don't know how long it lasts.

I use mine for a couple of months - I buy the small ones. And it does the job and is a lot less grief and hassle than using whole garlic. Very convenient to throw a tablespoon in with a lot of meats and marinades.
