In the 1950's people made 'zip guns' home made fire arms. Why? Guns were easy to get through the mail and cash purchases.?

Because a ' zip gun ' was not subject to age restriction , was cheap and disposable.

And mass shootings weren't a regular occurrence. We don't have a gun problem, we have a societal problem.
