Why do some people don't think vaccines are good for you?

Generally because they are concerned about their children and they don’t trust the medical professionals or other institutions. And vaccines have been so effective they have no real experience with the diseases that vaccines prevent so they don’t recognize the real danger of these diseases.
On top of that, social media makes it easy to spread misinformation about vaccines so these people find that info and it confirms their fears. Rather then step back and evaluate the actual facts, they give into the fear and only pay attention to things that they agree with and dismiss anything they don’t like.
Sometimes people can be open minded enough to recognize their bias and become willing to actually research both sides and learn to address their fears rather then give into them. Kelley Watson Snyder Is a good example - https://www.google.com/amp/s/californiahealthline....

Some do not want to have vaccines for religious reasons while others mistakenly say they can cause illnesses, which they do NOT.
