It costs us nothing to have illegals here. It saves us money to have illegals here. Not having them would cost us money.

They pay for themselves, and they pay for us as well. Without them, our taxes would need to be much higher, because the government wouldn't be able to collect the taxes that they pay.

By trying to keep out illegals, you are screwing your kids over.

Immigrants contribute to our economy- they don't cost us, whether legal or illegal. Of course, they would all be paying INTO the income tax system if we let them, but we don't. John W. is right- there's a prison near me that is getting hundreds of asylum seekers from the border. Instead of processing them and allowing those that qualify to work, they are being housed and fed at a cost of more than $700 A DAY, paid by US taxpayers, while Trump stalls on putting into place more humane and faster ways of dealing with them.. I know a lawyer who works at this prison- I'm am not making facts up or getting them from the media. Meanwhile, ICE raided chicken processing plants in Mississippi and today those plants are shut down because of lack of workers. Do you think Americans are lining up for jobs in a chicken processing plant? No, they are not. All this anti-immigrant rhetoric is going to kill our economy.

All us Democrats have to do is watch the running candidates and see the illegal immigrants have been put first before Americans and then the ones that don't realize that must not care about America first and I can do that being family have served in military.

Illegal immigration only costs tax payers somewhere between 50 billion and 150 billion annually. It’s really not that much.

Illegal immigrants often manage to get voting rights and typically vote democrat. Illegals are easier to exploit. It’s worth the cost and should be encouraged.

I read that it costs $747 a day for each person that Trump holds illegally instead of having them post bail. The law says a person must appear before a judge within 72 hours but Trump ignores that. As for the rest of your question, immigrants, whether documented or undocumented, are usually hard working law abiding citizens. They don't use any government programs. So I don't see where they cost you or your kids anything.
