Rome 'adopted ' Christianity: created/ defined a version that'd be more compatible/acceptable to the pagans of Roman population.True?
Rome forced the abandonment of many original teachings passed down from the apostles. For example, after this point, 4th century, anyone caught observing the Passover correctly, as a Christian was considered a heretic and anathema to Christ.

The Apostle foretold the infusion of pagan theology into the true Church of God; this happened and true Christians fled Jerusalem, spreading the gospel further, including Europe and the British isles. Which were NOT so named then. From that early infusion of pagan and Gnostic theology grew the major apostate churches of the present day.

The Church also (very early on) did away with the requirement for circumcision (which was a very good idea) in order to more easily attract new converts, of all ethnicities. So what?

The Christians as the Romans Saw Them
by Robert Louis Wilken
The five authors are Pliny (the Younger—the Elder, his uncle, died at Pompeii), Galen (famous today mostly as a physician), Celsus (the first man to write wholly focused on refuting Christianity), Porphyry (a highly regarded philosopher); and the Emperor Julian, called Apostate. Each of these men evaluated and interacted with Christianity, not always as a belief system with which to grapple, but at least as something with which they had to deal. In addition, Wilken notes the writings of other Romans that touch on Christians in passing, such as the historian Tacitus and the satirist Lucian.
Augustine: “Nothing would remain stable in human society if we determined to believe only what can be held with absolute certainty.”

TRUE!
Just as Christianity is continuously being changed to "a version that more compatible/acceptable to the pagans" of the Roman Catholic church TODAY by creating FAKE NEWS that Scriptures including "The Power of God" are "FRAUDULENT" (Mark 16:9-20)!
They've been doing the same thing for 2K years and Mark 16:9-20 is EVIDENT they have when "the Word has been established" (Matthew 18:16) because it "witnesses" Acts 1:5; 8 and I Corinthians 12:7-10;13!
It won't be long before the Bible will include homosexuality as a Christian way of life.
Mark my word for it!
Created Christianity's trend is to change with the times!

Based on my understanding of History Rome did what everybody else does they gladly accept Christianity at first and then over time it becomes perverted and decadent.

Meh...
The church began as a movement in Jerusalem.
It became a philosophy in Greece, an institution in Rome, a culture in Europe and, when it came to America, it became a business... a highly profitable business.
L. Ron Hubbard (Founder of Scientology) once said "Writing for a penny a word is ridiculous. If a man really wanted to make a million dollars, the best way would be to start his own religion."

While our modern day evangelists have not started their own religion, they have unquestionably improved on Hubbard’s idea. Capitalizing on Christianity has proved to be far more lucrative than starting a new religion. But as the Bible tells us.. evil men and impostors shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. [2 Timothy 3:13]

Jesus exists and is God. A person can know these things with certainty by way of having true devotion to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mary.

True
But Christianity had already stolen most of their doctrine and myths from pagan religions, for example virgin births and trinity gods. So a lot of the Romans would have already been comfortable with Christianity already.
