It all depends on who I'm having sex with, their own enthusiasm towards it, their looks, (sorry if that's superficial) and their own scent as I love giving oral to a woman. It also depends on how deep of a fantasy I'm experiencing if I'm masturbating. Alcohol consumption can also cut down on the intensity of an orgasm.

I would suggest whatever gives you the most comfort is up to you. Ideally you get equal satisfaction from both. I would suggest that having an orgasm with a partner you want to be with (it doesn't necessarily mean 'luv') is about as good as it gets however. Not everybody achieves this and it can take time to get it right. Enjoy the finding out what does work!!!
