Why do other countries think it's so easy for someone to convert to the metric system, it's not confusing for them, but it is to me?
i would literally feel like i'm in math class all over again. and what's with measuring food with a gram scale? i have no time to measure my cups and bowls before the actual products. measuring cups are easier, you just stick the product in there, pack it in and that's it. and then i have to measure by volume too? no maam. i don't even remember what volume is. i'm just venting you don't need to reply.

Actually, measuring with a scale gives you a much more accurate measurement when BAKING. You need to measure much more carefully when baking than you do while COOKING. While cooking you're free to "add a little of this and a little of that" without too much measuring.
Just remember that the nested "measuring cups" are for measuring *dry* ingredients while the standalone measuring cups are for measuring liquid ingredients.
