Atheists, do you realize that most historians agree that Jesus was real?

I'm not an atheist and I do believe in God, not religion but just because Jesus existed historically that doesn't mean that him being God is factual... Thats a belief that can never be proven as factual or non factual.. I do understand that some Atheists are flat out denying he ever existed which is ridiculous since even non biased science has proven that he did as well many Biblical things.

I realize dr. Bart Ehrman would agree Jesus was an actual historical figure. The contextual criticism of the gospels distill down to a few meager acceptable historical facts.

It seems historically likely that there was an itinerant Jewish apocalyptic preacher who was crucified early in the 1st century. But historians and History won’t make claims of Jesus divinity or miracles. How can we?

Atheists don't understand God and Jesus it's best to not even talk to them about it bcus they don't COMPREHEND.

Those persons are liars trying to make money with books and personal appearances. If you want to try claiming any such historians in 1CE, name them, and I will explain how they were working with the Romans in creating or supporting the NT lie.

First, many of them disagree with that. Second, saying, even proving that Jesus was real or existed and proving he was God are two different things.

No, most historians do NOT agree that Jesus was real. You don't know any historians nor do you know what history is. Consensus is proof of nothing. History requires proof. There is NO proof that Jesus ever existed.

A lot of atheists on here aggressively deny that Jesus of Nazareth was a historical person.

However, the elephant in the room is that the nation of Israel has never denied the historicity of Jesus of Nazareth.

They disagree with Jesus' claims to be the Son of Man and the Son of God, the Messiah. It's the religious claims attached to him that they argue about. But that very fact shows that they acknowledge Jesus to be a real character, in real time, in a real location.

Most of them do not care that it’s undeniable historical fact that Jesus was real. That’s the worldview they choose to live in.
