Contact Amazon and get a RA ( Return Authorization ) number and get it sent back as to Amazon's instructions.

Can't help if we know nothing on how it was shipped and what damage was to the inside. Although we have suspicions what broke but why bother with it? Get return and refund.

As others have suggested, ship it back.
About one-third of brand new tech items are faulty from the get-go. Even those that are tested before shipping.

The only way to know if it was refurbished is by looking at how it was packed, for fingerprints, missing documentation, etc. Calling manufacturer to see if the warranty was ever registered. Regardless it doesn't work just return it with the reason they sold a DOA product.

Return it for a refund. All there is, is problems down the road!
