I m planning to apply for a work visa if not for study visa.?

I think I might not be able to make it for the admission s list for this fall or spring. I want to apply for a work visa in Canada, work and save for my college and tuition fees. Is the procedure same so that I can apply on my own or need to apply through a well- known consultancy like globaltree

You cannot apply for any work permit. Only qualified & AUTHORIZED Canadian employers who hold govt permission to consider foreign applicants for a job on Canada's shortage list can apply for any employment visa for their qualified foreign employee. Since you plan to go to school, you obviously are NOT qualified for any occupation on Canada's shortage list!

You can only apply for student visa, if accepted by a Canadian university, from within your own country. You must prove you have sufficient funds for all school + living expenses + return transportation to your own country to apply for the visa. Expect to need a minimum of CAD 40,000/yr for the duration of your studies. BTW, there is NO way you could possibly earn enough in Canada to pay all that.

Canadian govt warns against the use of any consultant, agent, etc, for any visa or immigration process due to the high rate of fraud. Use of any consultant is grounds for visa denial, or revocation with deportation, with permanent bar to entry for FRAUD.

If you (& your parents) do not have enough money to qualify for student visa, then go to school in your own country. That's the ONLY place you can work your way through school as citizens of a country never have any employment restrictions.

"Consultants" can only fill out the paperwork for you. They have so special inside knowledge that'll get you a visa you're not otherwise qualified for. Canada makes it easy to see if you qualify for a work visa. Take the click through questionnaire on the CIC website. You either have enough points or you don't. In terms of getting a Canadian student visa, all the deets are there too and it'll come down to what level of education you've received thus far (from an accredited school) and whether you can pay for your degree program in Canada.
