Spain is a big and diverse place and hiking in the Pyrenees would require different clothing from lounging on the beach. So look at the activities you've got planned and pack accordingly.

I AM going on holiday (vacation) with my boyfriend and his parents to Spain next week I'm packing shorts, pyjamas, short-sleeved T-shirts, sandals and dresses including a dress I can just throw on to go down to the pool or beach.
