What did you get as a first tattoo and why?

I got my 1st tattoo at an outlaw bikers bike show , the band Rose Tattoo was playing on the stage , I got a Phoenix flying over a moon , the Tattooist was the guy who had done a lot of Angry Anderson Tatts who is the lead singer of Rose Tattoo , and when it started going around that some bloke was getting their 1st Tatt , heaps of people came over to watch and buy me drinks , it was mad

I got this as a tribute to my nan who passed away 4 years beforehand. She loved music and flowers so it was easy on what to get. 😊

“Not all those who wander are lost” on my ribs during my senior year of college. It may be cliche to some, but that was the year I realized that I was my own person and had to choose my own path separate from what my parents wanted. I had 4 different majors in college, but it was the first time I had appreciated how every decision had shaped me to be the person I was. I’m a stay at home mom now, but I still see that tattoo in the mirror and remember that I may not have set career goals, but I am making a difference in the lives of people around me. It’s by far my favorite tattoo.
