What do you think about third wave feminism?

The Third Wave has been replaced by the Fourth Wave and an intersection of common causes between both black and white females in the US. The Second Wave was mostly about white women. The current pop-feminism is adhered to by females who have had bad experiences as women.

Failure. It sold out to men and capitalism and the sex trade. Bring back radical feminism. Radical feminism is on the rise. The second wave is back.

Source(s): edit: Feminist is not "equality" -- it's liberation. Waldo and way too many d!ck-worshipping third wavers literally don't know the definition of feminism.

I refute the idea that 3rd-wave feminism genuinely advocates for true equality. Opposition to misandric 3rd-wave feminism is NOT equivalent to misogyny. I am anti-feminist because I oppose the 3rd-wave feminist narrative where all men are evil and all women are saints. As an anti-feminist, I criticize, degrade, demean, demonize, and vilify 3rd-wave feminism for the toxic capricious, deceitful, fantastical, hypocritical, self-centered dogma that is.

I do NOT take heed of the insane dogmatic tenants of feminism or any of the myths they uphold.

    I do NOT believe:

    • feminism actually wants equal rights for everyone (including men)

    • feminism strives for equality for everyone (including men)

    • feminism treats men fairly or equally

    • feminism cares about men's issues

    • feminism didn't cause the creation of MGTOW

    • feminism didn't kill marriage & the nuclear family

    • feminism's desire isn't Marxist authoritarianism

    • Marxist socialism will create a peaceful utopia

    • women are forever victims in our Western society

    • women are the only victims of domestic violence

    • women still aren't equal members of society

    • women cannot be misandric

    • women cannot be sexist

    • society still needs feminism

    • in the existence of the patriarchy

    • in the existence of the pay gap

    • in the existence of the glass ceiling

    • in the existence of rape culture in the West

    • in the existence of rape culture in colleges and universities

    • in the existence of female oppression

    • in the non-existence of male oppression

    • in the non-existence of female advantages

    • male privilege exists to a greater extent than female privilege

    • men should be disadvantaged whenever possible

    • women should be advantaged whenever possible

    • equality of outcome is synonymous with equal opportunity

    • a rape accusation equates to an instance of rape

    • slût-shaming is committed by men more than women

    • in a difference between male and female bodily autonomy as a boy's right to his own body (i.e. foreskin) should be equivalent to a woman's right to her own body (i.e. fetus)

About the same as the other waves of feminism. Core concept is that women get advantage and freedom while feminists encourage women to strictly police male gender roles. Just have a browse of the NOW website and see 90% of their links are about how to make men give women more money and how men should sacrifice more to make women safer.

Feminism is and always has been traditionalism without any responsibility for women.

Feminism has always been about hating males. And not just men, boys are hated too. Feminists think women are unequal to men for some reason. Feminists goal is to make men and boys subservient to women and girls. And the idea that females and better than males is taught to even toddlers.

"What do you think about third wave feminism?"

Third wave feminism is openly misandrist. It's terrible. It is the current "feminism" we live under. And it has embedded the idea of intersectionality to the point where the dogma has been morphed right into cultural M@rxism now. This means that not only have White women lost control of the movement .... but that women's advocacy has even taken a back seat to the radical social engineering ideas that now pass as feminism under the radical cultural M@rxist agenda.

Most people still like to talk about feminism like it is First Wave and only concerned with Equal Rights. But all of the prominent feminists openly endorse all kinds of nonsense that has nothing to do with Equal Rights or women's advocacy today and pretty much NO self-identified feminists feel the need to challenge what their prominent members say under the banner of "feminism". Therefore, today's feminism has this justified bad image as a group that openly accepts misandry and extremist feminist ideas for radical social change.

The discussions on feminism are almost ALWAYS debating the definition, with self-identified feminists claiming today's feminisms to still be that 100 year old women's advocacy movement, while those that are critical of feminism are pointing out actual examples of man-hating and other strange ideas that are currently being passed off as "feminism" by prominent feminists to no challenge by any other feminists.

    Serves a higher purpose.

I guess it's a good thing the MGTOW misogynist group formed. Sorta mellows the Fems out.
