When you ask about a phone under cameras that's what you get!
The Google Pixel 2 vs 3 in terms of the camera feature? There are lots of articles in the internet about it, even discussing about the 2 getting some features from the 3 through an update? You can't do that with real cameras!
As a photographer, I see no difference. A phone camera is a phone camera, no matter whatever version it has or whatever update it gets. If you are concerned with getting the latest, you don't need to know about features. You just buy what's new blindly. If you are after quality, why shoot pictures with a phone?
