Both.
I prefer the iphone for a phone; it's a tool not a toy, it does everything a smartphone should do.
Still on an iphone 6 I got when they first came out, it works like new and I see not reason to change it.
(Had the 4 & 5 before that, the 6 did have significant advantages over those. Still have them, they still work fine as well).
I have both an ipad (secondhand) and a Sony android tablet bought new.
They are each useful for different things and have different capabilities.

Apple as it integrates with my IMAC better and the iPhones my sons both use. Plus an un-jail broken iPhones is more secure than Android for normal users.

Android but I do use Apple too but manly my wife likes Apple partly the status and I think her sisters might use something like facetime but that might be facebook video chat.
Android is usually easier to find working charging cords for.

Either, but currently have an Iphone XS Max because the hardware is a beast compared to any Android I researched prior to purchasing it

Android. Apple doesn't support unlocked Bluetooth and NFC, removable storage, OTG and doesn't have multiple app stores.
