I keep having flash backs of my first love. We haven’t talked in months, I’m also In a relationship. Accept this relationship is a good one but I have the urge to just break it all of just for her.

You’ve prob forgotten what lead to the demise of the relationship, whether you’d ended it or she had. If she had, she was obviously unhappy. If you had and feel you’d made a mistake, you’ll have to decide whether it’s worth pursuing again after breaking off you current relationship - and only then. It’s a gamble that can’t be guaranteed.

It's always hard to lose your first love but keep the memories and don't lose what you have with your current girlfriend. I had a hard time when I lost my first love and a dear friend of mine said "the only way to get over your first love is by finding your true love". She was right because years later I've found and am engaged to my true love. Enjoy the memories but keep going forward in life.

It is because your first love and you formed a bond that will always be there although it will fade some overtime. It is actually a spiritual bond. Something that a lot of us humans don't take as seriously as we should or even recognize. I am 64 and I still have flashbacks of my first love even though I was only 17 at the time. It wasn't a great relationship but it was my first.
