d. who controls where you live, what you buy ... etc.

Most of the time it's because of sin. Either greed selfishness cheating or porn. Its normally one of those. These things cause a lack of true love in any relationship. These things lead you to never beong satisfied with what you have and always wanting more of what you don't have.
