To believe in marvels and in the sublime. And to defy the weakness which plagues us. We should not relish weakness. It is not a part of us. It is what hinders our full expression. To be blind or deaf or infirm are not ideals; they are not defining characteristics. Individuality is independent of the body as a principle. Black or white; rich or poor, smart or stupid; it is just machinery but not the concept which is manifesting out of it. I am just a signal in the brain and the better the body the better is my reception.

The meaning of life is ascension and the destination is enlightenment. Humanity is just a stepping stone. But there is greater in the world than humanity (at least as it is conceived in practice in the world today).
