Would my PS4 LAN connection affect the WiFi speed?

Update:

I have a router connected to my internet modem(100mbps) and also a connected PS4 to the modem through one of the ethernet ports. We also have multiple devices connected wirelessly and I worry that downloading games, gaming online, or video streaming on LAN, at might affect the speed of other wireless devices connected throughout the house. If it does affect the WiFi speed, how significant is it's impact compared to a wireless connection? Would it affect router bandwith or anything like that?

Unless the router includes a switch (and not just a hub), which very few do then all traffic passing through the hub will affect all other traffic. So if you have a high bandwith requiring online game running then it will definitely slow down all other traffic, including of course the WiFi.

The WiFi is, of course, limited in bandwidth so any device running software using a high bandwidth will slow down everything else. The faatest, best and most reliable connections are always via Ethernet and not WiFi whenever possible.

your internet speed is divided among all devices that use it, with priority going to video.
