why is israel digging under masjid al aqsa?
just wanted to know why they have been digging under the mosque which they have been doing for years what are they looking for that they have to do all this someone said there is treasure of solomon or something some say they are digging to destroy it what is the real reason for them doing all this. and what does the quran say about it or any hadiths.

It is a pity that very few Muslims of the world know the differences between the Masjids Al Aqsa and Dome of the Rock , situated near by. So Majid Al Aqsa is the one , that mentioned in Al Quran., Surah Al Isra or Bani Israel or The Children of Israel.
This Chapter mentioned the miracle event, when The Prophet Muhammad (May Allah be pleased with him and his family) being raised up by Allah to Israa and Miarage, for receiving the Ordinance of daily prayers ,consist of (17 )Raqats or rituals of five time prayers . For more details please see Chapter (17) Bani Israell or Al Israa.
As you see here is the Dome of the Rock not Masjid Al Aqsa.
