What race should I as a mixed girl claim?

My mother is Colombian and Jamaican and my biological father is Italian an German. My skin, unlike my white siblings, is caramel colored. It would feel wrong to claim white considering the amount of racial slurs he likes to call me but also I’m not very Hispanic and my skin is not dark enough to be considered black. Maybe I could say carribean considering my grandmas jamaican and my grandfather was born in Colombia which is technically in the carribean.

You can just say "mixed" or "human", and nobody is going to argue about that.

My sister in law was born and raised in Jamaica. Her mother is full Guatamalan and her father is Jamaican and German. She calls herself mixed.

I would say Caribbean, Italian and German. You are not HIspanic and if you are not of black ancestry you are not black. It is not about skin color it is about ancestry.

Do a DNA test to find out your dominant biological culture and identify with whichever one you feel most comfortable with. And create a chart so your kids can keep track.

It shouldn't really matter. Ethnicity and race should never be the issue.

Whomever you decide to date, make sure it's solely based on the love of the person.

If the man that you choose to date cares for you and treats you right and protects you, looks after your well being, that's the man you should choose.

I don't understand why should race have a factor. Love is the only thing that counts.

God created everyone equal, because he is in partial over ethnicity, race, or Creed. The important thing is that you find someone that you're going to connect, someone that you're going to build some rapport with, a person who you want to spend the rest of your life with and have children.

In the beginning of time we'll all the same, until race separated and divided us.

I understand that you're mixed race girl are you coming from many different backgrounds which is beautiful, but you have to make a logical decision and not a racially imposed one.

Don't let anyone tell you who to date.

As long as you don't claim white, it's fine.

What ever country you are a citizen of is what you should claim. Only people who are ignorant would allow themselves to be put in racial or ethnic boxes for the sake of those who want to feel superior to them.

You should claim no race, but any ethnicity you choose for which you carry significant DNA. In your case, Caucasian, Black, Caribe or Latina.

As there are no biological races in humans, why bother with such things? You have a nationality and an interesting ancestry and that is all you need. There is only one country I know of that still officially classifies people by race so just put 100m freestyle on forms and leave it at that.
