How do I find my passion, when I have no idea what I am good at?

I have been asking this question my whole life. I am just endlessly drifting without any direction.

This is a younger persons question. You don’t have to be good at it to be passionate for one thing. And usually doesn’t matter either. Most people are inept at what they do apart from highly skilled jobs. I often say to my students you can be anything but not everything

    Not everyone has a "passion".

As for finding out what you are good at, you just have to try a lot of things.

Do what is expected of you like school or work. Mean while on the side of your duties, try everything that passes your fancy. Like if you happen to see what one is photographer and you say hmmm that actually looks like fun, then do it. Try anything even if you don't think you will like it. In fact, most of my passions are the ones where I once said I'd hate to try but I tried it and loved it.

Finding your passion is realized when you are living life and not stressed looking for that passion. So don't hold your breath waiting for it to happend, but just keep active trying new things on the weekend or what ever free time you hve and give it a whirl. Something is bound to pop up and become your passion.

When you see others following a passion, YOU try it, just to see if you like it. Some people have a side hussle of their 9-5 job working online but then they found that they love it and have now made it their full time "job" they turned their hobbie into a job and it's thrilling.

My son got a summer job fixing bikes. Now he absolutely loves it and builds them for fun then sells them.

You just got to try and do ANYTHING until something clicks for you like ahhhhh!
