Do you think believing in purpose is the equivalent of being open minded?
For me it seems both require owning up to an idea that not everything is in your power and that you must accept reality for what it is..or atleast sometimes. If you agree that you do not know what the purpose of reality and life is then you are obligated to believe that homosexuality has purpose, that experiencing death has purpose, that you have purpose. Would you agree? If not why?

I agree that the purpose of life is to thank God, if your mentality remains open to His will, you will live forever in His kingdom, otherwise you will live in hell, to suffer and cry forever!
As far as homosexuality is concerned, it is a statistic of law against nature, God strictly admonishes those who use this practice, if they do not return to the natural condition they will be condemned to hell! Point!

We can use what is in this world for love or not but nothing has any purpose intrinsically. Love is not here. It's within. You must be open minded to accept that because we have accepted that it does have meaning.
If you look into homosexuality, you will see an exclusion of love.

No, that seems like a complete non-sequitur to me. Being open minded surely means being willing to accept that some things may not have a purpose.

If you wish to be open minded you should accept that they MAY have a purpose, but you are not obligated to believe that they DO. That would be being closed minded to the possibility that they do not have a purpose.

None of that is true. What is true, is that homosexuality is a sin, and like all sins, it is completely forgiven by the person believing in Jesus for eternal life.
.
Nobody can be good enough to avoid hell. The truth is that death leads to immediate heaven or hell, depending only on whether the person believed in Jesus for eternal life, or not.
.
The truth is that Jesus loves you and wants to bless your life freely :) Most of all, Jesus wants you with Him forever, and not in hell. The truth is that every belief except one will lead to eternal torment in the lake of fire for every person. Because nothing pays for our sins except the death and blood of Jesus, the sacrifice of Jesus that is already accomplished by Him . Jesus loves you! The truth is that Jesus is God, and Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sins in full, and then Jesus resurrected from the dead. Nothing else pays for our sins, not works, not deeds, not religions. So the only way to heaven and to avoid hell, is by believing in Jesus for eternal life (John 6:47), without adding any of your own works (Romans 4:5). Believe in Jesus to take you to heaven, and you will be in heaven, no matter what, guaranteed. That easy, thanks to Jesus! Tell Jesus that you thank Him that you will be with Him in heaven when you die, because you believe in Jesus! It is too late to be saved, after death

Being open-minded can be really tough sometimes. Most of us are brought up with a set of beliefs and values and, throughout our lives, tend to surround ourselves with people who share the same values and beliefs. Therefore, it can be difficult when we're faced with ideas that challenge our own and, though we may wish to be open-minded, we may struggle with the act of it from time to time.
I'd like to say I'm a fairly open-minded person, but, like most people, I do have some pretty strong views about specific topics and find it hard to sway from those opinions -- no matter how others might try to persuade me. Of course, I fully believe that having strong beliefs can be a wonderful thing and I believe we should all stay true to what we believe in, but having strong beliefs doesn't have to mean having a closed mind. Though it can be tough to do sometimes, I've always found that when I open my mind, I've reaped a lot of rewarding benefits. There is much to be gained from opening the door to your mind and letting new ideas and beliefs come in. Here are just a few of the benefits I've uncovered when I've taken the time to view the world around me with an open mind...

We have purposes and meaning that we place on things, ideas, people, events, etc...It is in us that is to say in our mind that we have these. It is in the mind of the valuing subject that we have values. Purpose, value, meaning, etc... are a product of our mind, they do not occur in the universe. Even if we collectively share some purpose it occurs in the individuals who make up the group and not in some nonexistent collective hive mind.
Where then does a purpose exist outside of us? What is this purpose? And how can you justify your claim (how do you know that)?

No those are two totally unrelated ideas. And they aren't mutually exclusive. You can be opened minded about believing in purpose.

No, not knowing if there is a specific purpose to something does not obligate anyone to believe in a specific purpose to something else. The only way you can "obligate" anyone to believe in something is to provide overwhelming evidence for it (which is not always effective) or through a technique known as "brainwashing", or at least "indoctrination".
