What are your thoughts on anyone with a tracheostomy?

Could you work with them? Are you comfortable with them serving you food? Without knowing exactly why it is that they have it. Does it disgust you to be around someone who has one? And if so, Why?

No, it wouldn't bother me. It's none of my business.

This is something like saying old people disgust you - unless you plan on dying young you yourself will be old one day so when you see someone with a disability think "That could be me"

I used to see them all the time when I went for speech therapy in the seventies, but don't believe I've seen one in decades. I have sympathy for them, but a job serving food doesn't seem ideal -- people are too ignorant and judgemental. Could I with with them in an office setting? Absolutely.

I assume that they smoked, and that disgusts me.

It could be worse. It could be a colostomy bag.

If I see one, it’s probably a smoker.
