I’m a conservative in my senior year of High School. What are my chances of making something work with someone across the political aisle?

I know I know. Some people who respond to this are gonna make the claim of “You’re a racist homophobic islamaphobe bigot who supports Hitler and wants to kill immigrant children” (when that’s not even what actual conservatives believe so please look it up instead of repeating media and left wing talking points), but I’m in a situation in my life where I’ve started to realize all the girls I have liked have been Liberal. There was one girl who was a conservative that I loved, but she always pushed me away. I haven’t felt the same since. I don’t mind the idea of dating someone who is the opposite side of the aisle, but given today’s day and age I’m just not entirely sure if it can work out. I’m a senior in high school, and most of the girls in my school are liberal, correction: every single one that I know is. There have been some that I’ve felt attracted to, but never made a move on and this one reason has led me to deliberately kill my feelings for people because I felt it would cause too much tension. So from people who have experience dating on opposite ends of the political aisle, what should I do?

If you're a moderate conservative, a RINO according to Trump-Republicans, you could get along nicely with moderate, i.e. slightly left of center leftists. But, the more your beliefs tend to align with the alt-right, the more unlikely it will be that you could have a meaningful lasting relationship with anyone on the Left.

Depends on where in the county you live. In Alabama you might be quite popular. Meanwhile in my state of California you'd already be on a forced psych hold once your classmates reported your ideology.
