f(x) = 2/x = 2x^(-1)
Do you want f'(x)? That's not the same as "F prime".
f'(x) = -2x^(-2) = (-2)/(x^2)

You mean f '(x) if f(x) = 2/x ?
Assuming so, you are asking for the derivative.
To evaluate it, hint: f(x) = 2/x = 2 * x^(-1).
Whats the recipe to evaluate such derivatives?
Done!
