No.  They're trying to use their legal powers to impeach Trump and then during the trial bring all the dirt out.  This would, of course, make the GOP look really bad to independent voters, and they'll lose the 2020 election.

It's sad, because the Democrats true goal, at this point, is to turn America into a Bolshevik state.  They want to disarm Americans and limit the first ammendment.  If they have their way they'll have statues of Bernie Sanders all over and the Sickle and hammer hung at every town square.
