Google won't help me fix this spelling error, please what is the spelling?

I was trying to use google to figure out the spelling of a word to know hot to say it right. I hardly practise using the word to know already. Nothing came up from the search engine to help.

I'll say it I was trying to put it through the search engine: An adjustrated story.

The definition has to be like "Someone that stretches the truth of what really happened for a entertaining story" or "Stretching the truth of what something truly look like."

Pretty clear this must be 'exaggerated'.

We pronounce it "egg - ZAJ - er - ated".

"Someone that stretches the truth of what really happened for an entertaining story" sounds like you mean "someone who exaggerates stories".

The word you are looking for is exaggerated. "Adjustrated" is not a word.

Other words you might be looking for that mean the same as exaggerated are:

    fabricated, embellished, aggrandized, dramatized, etc...

    Hope this helped.

Indeed in 73 years I have never come across "adjustrated", and my spell checker does not recognise it. Possibly "exaggerated" is the word you want. Not really "aggrandised".

Where did you get "adjustrated" from?

Exaggerated, I think, is the word you want.

Google is pretty dumb if it couldn't figure out adjustrated meant exaggerated.

Stretching the truth means exaggerating. The Irish sometimes give exaggerated complements which they call blarney. They don't consider it to be a lie, just a modification of the truth.

The spelling is the organized sequence of letters used to form the word.
