Did you google your question? I am not a canine nutritionist. On this site many believe that grainfree is the way to go. But if a dog is not allergic to the grains in dogs food, there is no reason it make it a bad dog food. I feed Pedigree & neither of my dogs have allergies to the grains they use as fillers. But many say Pedigree is crap but Vet saw no reason not to feed pedigree. It just boils down to your choice.

As a category: RAW animal proteins - bones, muscles, organs from the whole carcass.

🦘I'm told that kangaroo (probably wallaby, too) is the meat least likely to produce any allergies. Deer, goat, hare, lamb, 'possum. In the case of beef, donkey, horse: the dense leg bones are likely to break the teeth of most dogs.

🐔Birds of all kinds - including their eggs.

🦈Oily fish are great value at least once or twice a week. Shark are boneless, but the rest need to have ALL their "needle"-bones removed and put where the dog can NOT get at them: herring, mackerel, salmon, sardines, swordfish, trout, tuna are highly recommended.

🧫If you wish to include kibbles (my Bea licked ALL the milk from her breakfast bowl before deigning to start chomping the kibble that it was soaking in), supply the bowl of kibbles at least 4 hours away from REAL food - kibbles pass through the canine's short digestive tract too quickly for complete digestion to occur.

Just as Verulam said, there is NO ONE "BEST" dog food.  It depends on the dog's preferences, health, age & energy level - and what you have available in your area & can AFFORD to buy.

    There IS no best.

The `best` dog food is one that suits the individual dog .

The one that best suits the individual dog! Literally. There is no 'best dog food', given how many companies there are selling dog food. I'd suggest the better food is one that isn't cereal-based. One that lists meat, or fish should be the first choice. Coupled with, initially, using the food the breeder has been rearing the puppies on from weaning, at first. Going out into the world is stressful enough without switching food at that time.

charming, and watery and lots of leaves, like human poors! collision of lentil to their food makes them more happy, instead of meat and also its hunger for a tininess of it.
