If Americans are so obsessed with their military power, why don't they invade Canada?

I tell you that if a country invade another country for no reason ,the invader will be bashed by the international community ,what's more,the general public in the world will feel animosity towards this invader ,the end result is this country will see the tourist income fall ,their conomy will be deeply affected

They tried and got beat. They were unable to beat Canada during the War of Independence which is why Canada stayed a part of the British Empire. Then they tried again in 1812 when Canada was still a British Colony and they got beat again. In the 1920s the USA did have a war plan for the invasion of Canada but that was just war planning, they never did anything with it.

We were hoping Canada would invade and free us from the Trump family crime syndicate.

They tried, twice, and got severely beaten both times. They also allowed the Fenians to try it from American soil, and they were defeated as well.

Some people may not think much of the Canadian military capabilities, but, when asked, Canadians fight like demons.

America is not interested in expanding her borders. But in the distant future, something like that might happen. It would take a lot of bad luck and poverty happening to America before she would seek to acquire and control he own neighboring countries.

From a military point of view, Canada simply wouldn't stand a chance. However, the number of problems an invasion of Canada would cause both internally politically and diplomatically would leave the US regretting ever doing it. Externally, if the US went to war with one ally, it might find itself going to war with all of them. Internally, making such a drastic move would lead many of its own peoples to hating the American government. Hasn't it got enough on its plate with China and Russia? America maybe powerful, it may hold a lot of land, but invading Canada could leave it surrounded by enemies. :D It wouldn't feel so powerful then. It wouldn't be able to make enough moves to keep up with that many countries.

Don't give conservatives any ideas.

The world would turn against them.
