Which is cheaper at a gas station? A pint of bottled water or a pint of gas?

    Sadly, water is often more expensive than fuel

    A gallon of gas here in NC is $2.23. A 16 oz. bottle if water at the same station is usually $1.79.

    You are comparing bulk gasoline with a bottle of water. The gas station does not have gas in pint bottles so the price can not be compared.
