Should I switch back to Apple?
So, about 6 or 7 months ago, I switched from Apple to Samsung. It was a nice and refreshing change for once, but, I think I regret it and am having second thoughts. When I had switched, I switched my IPhonr X for an S10 5G, Apple Watch (1st gen) for a Gear S3, IPad Pro for a Tab S4, and Airpods for Galaxy buds. I like to switch everything when going for a new company (to me, makes sense). Everything about Samsung is just great, their products are, for the most part, super innovative (like that galaxy fold, come on now lol), clean, and just look and feel awesome. The only thing is, I'm kind of home sick, I guess? After all, Apple is who I was with first. And don't get me wrong by no means, Android is nice. I love that Android company's give unnecessary specs for their phones (that's a good thing, not being sarcastic). But something in me is like telling me I should go back. Watching videos on new Apple products being released doesn't help but I can't help it. Android is great in all, but it tends to lag way more then what I remember Apple devices doing. I knew that was to come and it's not unbearable, just a little annoying. App crashes on occasion and I do for sure miss the every other day updates for your phone (exaggerating but you get my point). I could go on and on but I'm saving you reading. So, what do you think? Ultimately it's my decision but I'd like to know on how you stand. Should I switch back or stay with? Thanks soooo much!

If you could go "on and on" about what you think made/makes Apple products great then perhaps it would be a good idea to switch back. I may be biased because I have a new MB Pro, XS Max, iPad Pro, and an Apple Watch but I agree that they work wonderfully together and I never have any issues with them. I have, in the past, had Samsung products and while I do think they, too, are great, I just find that all of the small things you mentioned are enough to keep me away. Small issues are small when alone but can easily summate over time, creating a negative experience overall; the small things do add up! Growing up my mom always taught me that "when in doubt, don't", something she had learned from her father. So if you have doubt now about Samsung, and it seems like you do, they don't stay with them and give Apple another try. Plus, I see that you really only switched in the first place to try something new and I think I can infer that when you were with Apple things were good so I can deduce that you will most likely be fine when you switch back.

It sounds like the Apple 'nanites' implanted in your brain by exposure to the Apple ecosystem have reactivated and you won't be happy until you rejoin the crowd. On the other hand Samsung is still going to continue innovating and will soon try to tempt you back again unless Apple decides to do something wonderful and shifts the paradigm. Both are busy fleecing you while the market has plateaued-out.
Keep what you have and put the money towards a nice holiday. If money is not an issue then go back to Apple gang and stay there.
