How we will get sleep if there is no dream. Am I right in saying that we get dream only while sleeping.?

Daydreams don't really count as dreams, so as far as I know we only dream when we are asleep, or maybe when we are in a comma.  It would be hard to document the coma state of mind.  We sleep without dreaming most of the night.  About every 45 minutes to an hour another dream kicks in.  Humans work out daily problems through their dreams, but in a subconscious way.

What we read we store it in sub conscious mind. We read and read to get this memory. So it might come in dream and give sleep. A dream is a way of checking sleep. If any nerve in brain is cut we may get sleep out of tiredness.
