Income is what you have coming in. Net worth is what you have in the bank after all your outgoings are deducted.

Income: Money received, especially on a regular basis, for work or through investments.

Net worth: Everything you own of significance (your assets) minus what you owe in debts (your liabilities).

income is what you make from your job.

net worth is the value of all your assets.  home, car, stock, other businesses investments, etc.  net worth doesn't always relate to the cash you have in your bank.
