What live plants can I use in an aquarium?

What are some cheap live plants I can use for an aquarium. Something generic that i'll be able to find at garden shops or something

    Okay. Aquarium plants are meant to be submerged in water. You can't just pick any cheapo plant in a pot at a garden store and expect it to live underwater. It won't. Why not save up, and buy 2 or 3 real aquatic plants? Research the ones that are easy to grow, and will proliferate. Like dwarf sag. Or any Crypt. These are easy, low-light plants that will produce many more.
