According to you, whom does the Bible testify about? ?

As per Jn 5:39, it should be testifying about Jesus Christ. Do you agree with St John the Apostle?

The Bible testifies about our Savior, Jesus Christ, and our salvation. I 100% agree with John . Paul affirms this in Heb 9:28.

    Yes!

"You THINK you have eternal life" (John 5:39) by reading a Book!

But the Book only "testifies of GOD" (John 5:39)!

"You will not come to Him and have eternal life" (John 5:40) by reading a Book only and TRYING to do what it says.

The Book only tells us HOW to "put on Christ" (Galatians 3:27) and to be "born again of the spirit" (John 3:5-7) by "A QUICKENING SPIRIT" (I Corinthians 15:45)

Who raises our "DEAD spirits" up (Romans 5:12; I Corinthians 15:21-22)

"LIKE AS Christ was raised up by the glory of the Father" with "Holy Spirit baptism" (Romans 6:3-4)!

It is His "POWER that comes upon us" (Acts 1:8) with Holy Spirit baptism (Acts 1:5) Who "QUICKENS us back to life" (Ephesians 2:1).

As we are "resurrected from your graves" (Ezekiel 37:12-14) and begin to "walk in the newness of life" (Romans 6:4) in accordance with I Corinthians Chapter 15!

If we are not "raised up from our DEAD spirits" We are NOTHING to GOD (Mark 12:27)!

"The letter KILLETH but the SPIRIT giveth life" (II Corinthians 3:6)!

"Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we Him no more" (II Corinthians 5:16)!.

Jesus received the revelation from GOD, as being the true Messenger of GOD,to preach to the Israelite during his era to believe in the one true GOD ,the Lord of all the worlds and forbid them all not to ascribe any partners to GOD in all forms.

Contrary to popular belief, the Bible is not a product of, nor does it glorify, the civilization of the West. Almost the entire Bible was written in Oriental countries. The men who wrote it down were all Orientals. The first human writings were made in the Middle East, nearly 6,000 years ago, by the first man, Adam. Nearly 3,500 years before the birth of Buddha, Adam wrote down “a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created” (Gen. 1:1 to 2:4) and “the book of Adam’s history” (Gen. 2:5 to 5:2). To benefit from what I just said You Must Read the Scriptures.

The bible is ancient superstition and nothing more, it should never be taken literally.

Since the apostle John writes that Jesus mentions two people at John 17:3, seems the Bible testifies about two people:  God and the one he sent to us.  I agree with St John the Apostle but I agree with all the apostles and the whole word of God since it can't contradict itself.

Jesus allegedly lived and worked among the Jews..Ask any Jew today if they think that this Jesus character was a god and they will poo-poo the whole idea....So he was clearly a Roman invention fabricated to resemble the Old Testament prophesied messiah...

    Jesus Christ

    The passage:

Jhn 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Here Jesus was stating that the unbelieving Jews of his day claimed that the scriptures assured them of eternal life - but he maintained that the scriptures testified to him being the only giver of eternal life. He was showing their ignorance of the scriptures and rebuking them for their unbelief.

Luk 24:44 And Jesus said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Jhn 5:46 For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

    ==============

    Try this in context

39 “You search the Scriptures because you think they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures point to me! 40 Yet you refuse to come to me to receive this life.

41 “Your approval means nothing to me, 42 because I know you don’t have God’s love within you. 43 For I have come to you in my Father’s name, and you have rejected me. Yet if others come in their own name, you gladly welcome them. 44 No wonder you can’t believe! For you gladly honor each other, but you don’t care about the honor that comes from the one who alone is God.[e]

45 “Yet it isn’t I who will accuse you before the Father. Moses will accuse you! Yes, Moses, in whom you put your hopes. 46 If you really believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me. 47 But since you don’t believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”

    John 5
