What insurance can I get if I have medicare part A but not part B (They would let me apply for part b) i am 68 yrs old.?

    You need Part B to purchase Medigap or Medicare Advantage plans. The only thing you could purchase with ONLY Part A is a Part D prescription plan. However, you're going to want coverage in the doctor's office. If I were you, I'd purchase Part B as soon as possible to avoid the Part B penalty.

    You can purchase a bridge plan. Ask three times...get three of the same answer.

    If you have Part A, then you can look into getting either a "medigap" policy or a "medicare advantage" plan.
