Is there a nice way to tell a girl to shave her armpits?

Tell her there is something you need to discuss with her. Then when you are alone come right out with it. Say Steph, would you feel insulted if I told you something and I don't mean to hurt your feelings but I noticed something and I wanted to ask you about it? Then ask her if she feels comfortable shaving under her arms and say you noticed it a few times and just wondered. And then leave it at that. If she can't take the hint after that, she'll never get it.

My boyfriend of years shaves everything including his armpits, and now? I don't even like hairy pits on a man. But if i have another boyfriend who isn't into shaving, i can't tell him what to do.

is she your gf? are u having sex with her? if not - her armpits is none of your business. maybe she is a raving feminist lesbian and this is her way of signalling them she is one of them

You can ask her but I suspect she knows she has hair there and is simply refusing to follow convention in the US.  Lots of women don't shave their armpits in Europe.

tell her directly be honest

My - if she is single due to such a trivial matter maybe she is only meeting shallow people, I know it can be a bit off putting for some people, but really - there is more to life!

armpit hair is NOT the main reason she doesn't have a boyfriend. there are actually some guys that can dig that kind of stuff. you are just too shallow to understand. who's body is this? yours? NOPE. it's hers. what's next? telling her not to have a period because you think it's gross? mind your own business. 

and you know that she shaves her body? why are you looking at her like that? again, keep your eyes to yourself. maybe she has very sensitive armpits and can't shave that area.

It's none of your business. I know people who are in a relationship but they don't shave their armpits.
