Will the Republicans be able to countrer the ills that Trump has done with the economy in the 2020 election?

Just in case you don't know it the economist are a git stumped because with the economic growth has not triggered runaway inflation. It appears to almost be a self sustaining economic growth and there have been no "new wars" feeding the military segment of our economy.

The one negative issue is the way health insurance costs have increased with out any real increase in true medical costs. But that is the nature of a forced insurance to a business segment. They (the insurance companies) have no need to compete so they boost rates because they can.

So the one bug a boo in our economy is not because of what Trump did. It is the result of stonewalling by the democrats.

In the 2020 election campaign, Trump would be wise to admit that rekindling the coal mining industry was not a good idea. Otherwise, his 2016 campaign promises weren't all that bad.

What idiots have you been listening to for your information on the state of the economy?!! The economy has been one of the best in years because of Trump! Not only has there been low unemployment, but Black unemployment is the lowest on record! He is also taking on other tough issues other presidents have kicked the can down the road on, like illegal immigration and China.

I'll take more ills like that any day!

Taxes will have to sky rocket to replace all the damage trump has done, not to mention all that he has stolen.

The air and water pollution will take decades to heal.

What is happening is the Democrats are trying to falsely accuse Trump of crimes before the multiple investigations into the antics of the Democrats expose their real crimes. It is called a smokescreen.

-Nonfarm payrolls surged by 266,000 in November, better than the 187,000 expected by economists polled by Dow Jones.

-The unemployment rate ticked down to 3.5% from 3.6%, back to the 2019 low and matching the lowest jobless rate since 1969.

-Average hourly earnings rose by 3.1% from a year ago, slightly above the 3% expected by economists polled by Dow Jones.

Trump hasn't actually done anything bad with the economy, his faults lie elsewhere. Of course, he hasn't really done much to change it for the better either.
