Why is anyone saying President Trump is guilty when there is NO CRIME in the articles of impeachment?

Are they delusional? Or just desperate to be relevant?

Abuse of power and obstruction of Congress aren't crimes to you? Interesting. Surely you're smarter than that.

They are becoming desperate, that is for sure.

They claim that President Trump withheld aid from Ukraine until they investigated the Bidens which, they claim, was purely for personal gain.

The problems with that include: the aid has been paid to Ukraine, the status of any investigation into the Bidens has not changed, the person to whom the threat was directed was unaware of the threat.

Another issue is that Vice President Joe Biden did threaten the same country with the withdrawal of aid unless they fired the prosecutor who was investigating his son's company. Ukraine did fire the prosecutor.

So, Trump did not commit a crime and he has been impeached and Biden did and all the Dems think it is OK. Go figure, as the Americans say.

Thanks to Rudy Giuliani, we now also know that the fired Ukrainian prosecutor, Shokin, has documentary evidence showing Hunter Biden receiving money via a well-known money laundering route.

They are desperate to brand Trump as having been impeached going into his re-election because there is no other way he is going to get defeated. That won't do it either.

The two offenses in the impeachment are misuse of power and obstruction of Congress. By asking for foreign intervention in a Presidential election and demanding his advisers to ignore Congressional subpoenas, Trump has committed perjury against his oath of office and possible treason against his country.

Obstruction of Congress is a crime. Extortion is a crime. Denial is a personality disorder.

    YES on BOTH counts!

Blocking the investigation of a crime is a crime. We will have to hear from the people he would not let testify.

You should have gone to testify on his behalf...
