I am generally better off drinking diet sodas than regular?

I don't really care about the aspertene arguement, or the refined sugars etc. If I am addictied to soda, and have recently taken to diet over regular, will I even in the slgihtest be ever off? Thanks

    Diet sodas have few or no calories so will not increase your weight. Some can be full of chemicals which are best not consumed in large amounts. Stevia and sucralose are generall better than aspartame.

    No. You are not better off.

    I actually get high, and not in a good way, if I drink diet soda, usually after about 14 ounces.

    I haven’t had a diet soda in...30 years at least.

    Try the diet sodas with Stevia. It is natural and tastes as good as non-diet without the dangers of aspartame

    You'll consume fewer calories overall so I guess you'll be better of in that sense.

    I only drink water or fruit juices.
