  • Can I refinance my home solely in my name from it currently being solely in my wifes name?

We purchased a home 2 years ago, and at the time my credit was poor, and my debts were high. In the last 2 years, my score has raised significantly, and have paid almost everything off.

The current mortgage my wife applied for and was approved alone. We are both on the title/deed, but just herself on the mortgage.

I am looking to do a refinance, and want the new mortgage to be solely in my name. I currently make more than her, and our "scores" are within points of eachother using the free FICO evaluators our CCs give us, and places like CreditKarma/CreditSesame.

Will there be any issues to run into?

  • Can I use adult trees as supports when building a cabin?

I am looking to purchase a heavily forested piece of land, and I wanted to know if I found an 10x10 area or so, can I use the trees around it to build shelter? Would it work to physically attach part of the shelter to the trees so I wouldn't have to dig and cement structural posts. Just a thought off the top of my head. Kind of like a treehouse which is basically on the ground of slightly hovering above it and use the trees to raise the floor. Thanks

  • Want to throw a wedding anniversary party, but a larger one similar to a wedding. Thinking about charging admission?

For some background, because I already cringed when typing CHARGING admission.

So I want to throw a party for my wife and my wedding anniversary. Instead of doing something small with 20-30 people at the house, I was thinking about getting a small hall, open bar, and buffet catering and invite like 50-60 people. Friends, family, and even some +1's. I like to host, and have a good time.

However, this easily will cost more than double, and I am not looking to profit or even break even on the party. I would assume that I can collect the difference of my house party and hall party by "asking" for a $20 "donation" to come to the party.

My plan is definitely to talk to the majority of guarenteed invitees and see if they would have a problem with it so I don't get any bad tastes from people, let alone I won't actually be tracking if people pay, which still sits me with the bill I know I am going to have.

So all in all, is there a way I can approach this? Maybe when sending official invitations, I can mention that I will accept any financial donations towards the party?

    Please and Thanks

  • How do I send my technologically challenged parents cash easiest?

My parents loaned me money, and we don't live near eachother. I am looking for the easiest way to give my parents access to their money that I am repaying monthly. It can't be anything Digitally Smartphone related. I personally use Venmo/GooglePay but I am not expecting them to do so. Let alone transferring and stuff.

Is there a way to load a card for them and they can ATM withdraw on their end? But like I have access to load the card on my end at any time. Thanks

  • Why does my Pomeranians butt have so much undercoat?

I have 4 Pomeranians. I groom them regularly once a week, I usually don t forget. Sometimes extra if I m bored.

When I brush using the "slick" brush, the angled needle like one, 2 of the dogs keep filling the brush in hair I m pulling from the undercoat. Is this something I need to remove completely? I spent about 15 minutes and 20 brush fulls on their butts alone. They get professionally groomed evert 3 months. If there is something more I can do or look into doing let me know.

The other two are fine when brushing. Minimal shed, minimal brush fallout.

  • I am looking for cost estimates regarding adopting a child in Indiana, has anyone gone through the process?

My wife and I are looking to adopt a child in the next 3-5 years depending on financial aspects and saving. We had twin boys, and we had some complications during pregnancy/birth and are looking into adopting a girl so we can have some of each. I am wondering what are realistic expenses to expect during the process, and time frame from start to finish.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Can I pay an employee a flat rate hours without them clocking in?

We have a special needs student who comes into the pizzeria twice a week for 2 hours each time. She shows up a couple minutes early and leaves promptly at noon. I have her paid 4.25 hours a week, which covers the early time coming in. She isn't fond of technology, so we leave her be to do some busy work and walk out.

Is there an issue with the way she is paid?

  • Where can I find the Math and English goals for children by school year?

I was wondering if I can find lesson plans or just a list of goals by year that schools attempt to teach/reach with students? I do not plan to hone school, but I wanted to know if there was something I can follow while my kids are in school to see if I can get them ahead by helping them outside or over the summer. Thanks.

  • Can I use someone else s product in my own and sell it?

I was thinking of using a spice mix which is already in market. Example: taco mix. And create a product using it and its flavors to sell. Is that legal?

To clarifying, using someone s product to make your end product. It is food related.

  • What should I take to Detroit Lions @ Miami as a Lions Fan?

I am going to see the Lions in Miami. I always go to one away game to compliment my season tickets.

I am sitting at the Row 1 of the Upper Bowl Endzone section. I was thinking of bringing a Bed Sheet or Poster to hang over the edge.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

I was thinking of Mastercard. Plane $200, Hotel $200, Tickets $100, Watching Lions eat Dolphins alive: Priceless.

    Thanks

  • Landlord: Charging multiple late rent charges?

I was putting together a lease, and wondering about late rent. Home is renting at $1000/m. I have a late rent charge of $25 after the 5th day. Due 1st, 5 day grace to 6th (for Friday Checks if needed), then on the 7th I add it.

Let's say someone doesn't pay until the 20th, can you, or have you, added additional late charges? Is that a normal practice? Or is it just one late charge per rental invoice?

    Thanks

  • Can I replace my dogs Dasuquin with Doggie Dallies?

We just took him to the vet, 8 month Pomeranian. He has knee problems, both back legs. Vet gave us Dasuquin, but its rather expensive compared to the Doggie Dallies on Amazon. I know the active ingredients are roughly 1/3 the Dasuquin, but seeing all the other Hip/Joint products, most are at the lower end of active ingredients so it seems Dasuquin is overkill.

Looking for help, not assuming im right. Please and thanks.

  • Why is my car shaking when braking?

Whenever I brake from 40+mph smoothly, but sharply, my car gets pretty shakey. It began 2 months ago, but I didn't drive it for 4 month prior.

    New tires (3000mi)

    New brakes (1000mi)

    New rotors (1000mi)

    Oil change (1000mi)

Transmission Fluid (not replaced for 18k + previous owner, didn't have info) levels still good

What else could I look into?

  • What kind of Desktop Remote Connection program could help me?

I work at a pizzeria, where all documents and work stuff is stored on the local computer. I want to be able to access it, and the other options from home. Examples are accessing the POS System Options, Menu Editing, Logging into the POS to run reports and check how the store is doing midday.

I have tried a couple programs that require an approval to connect from the store computer. What programs out there allow me to freely connect whenever I want?

  • Can taking too much Tylenol make it look like Hepatitis?

I got lab results back from the doctor today, and they mentioned low liver enzymes. Something about a weak liver, I don't remember exactly.

She mentioned Hepatitis, and I dont recall if it was a,b, or c. Then told me to stay away from Tylenol and we can retake in a month, and if it is still weak then screen for Hep.

I mentioned to her I have been taking tylenol like candy this past week. 1800-3000 a day. I had a tooth infection which was then extracted and some lower back pain. Could it be the excess of meds I have been taking making my liver weak and having them think it is Hep? She still wants to test in a month, but I hope its more likely this that not.

    Thanks.

  • What is the risk of an Inactive/Expired CPA doing my taxes?

I was looking for a new CPA to do my taxes. I was quoted $300 from someone who I searched and was active. A second person quoted me $150 however when I searched him online it says he was Expired/Inactive.

Is there any other reason you would be expired or inactive other than not taking additional classes or training?

    Please and thanks.

  • Can I connect 2 Mice and Keyboards to the same PC?

I wanted to set up a Monitor, Mouse, and Keyboard in my office at work that is showing the same screen as my POS screen up front. I wanted to connect another keyboard and Mouse so I have access to the computer from 50+ feet away. Not looking for double access, just distant access for paperwork.

So, will a computer recognize two Keyboards and two Mice at the same time, clearly only 1 cursor and input at a time.

    Thanks
