Trademarking An Artist Name?
Is it infringement if an artist name is the same as another person’s except without a space in between the letters? Random example is if one used the name “Balo“ because “Ba Lo” is taken. Looking forward to the answers

If a reasonable person could be confused into thinking that "Ba Lo" had some sort of relationship with "Balo", then it would be a trademark infringement. It wouldn't matter that "Balo" was his actual name. Imagine all the restaurants that would pop up named McDonalds if anyone with the name McDonald could open one up just because of their name.
If you wanted my guess, I'd say they're too similar to be distinctive and the trademark office would turn down such a registration, particularly since both names are being used to represent artists. If attempting to register "Balo" for an auto mechanic shop, then that would likely work.
