I know this annoying troll named Bob. He likes to post rants in the wrong category.

YOU are the annoying coworker. If anyone was able to put their hands on an important document in your office, you SHOULD be in trouble for that being possible.
You deal with it by IMPERSONATING an responsible adult that is fit for the job.

Get him drafted into the military.
That IS why you spammed this section with your bullsh*t, right ?

So why didn't you tell manager and/or boss it wasn't you that did the shredding?? And anything on my desk, or in my area gets touched by no one except me.

Your term 'coworker' indicates that he has the same rights to be in your office as you have. This makes it very awkward to move his to another office without making much trouble.
The easiest way, particularly if your bigger than he is to take him privately to one side, explain the problem as politely as possible, and inform him that any more of the dame, and you'll break his bloody neck
Ensure that their are no witnesses to this personal meeting.
Failing this direct approach, then I suggest that YOU move out, leaving him in charge. If as you say he's a bit thick, he will inevitably make a complete balls of it, will then leave, and you can retake over command.
