Have you ever celebrated New Years in Times Square?

I'm terribly curious about what people do about needing the toilet.

I heard that if you leave the area you can't return.

Does anybody know what happens?

    According to comments on Trip Advisor (see link below), there are no open restrooms near Times Square, and anyone who leaves will not be let back in due to security concerns. Apparently men sometimes pee in bottles and women wear maxi pads or adult diapers. With the intense crowding, I don't want to guess what that smells like, especially if people have accidents!
