Can i get Employment insurance even though i worked for many companies before?
last 16 months i have been moving between jobs but lately i got layed off , can i still get EI ?or only applies if i was working with one employer

It will depend on how many weeks you worked and how much you made. You will have to give unemployment a list of employers and the dates you worked for them. It would also be helpful if you could tell them how much you earned at each one. They will have to contact each one of your employers to confirm the information.
