How to comfort a woman who's been traumatized?
My son's mom was in a car accident and she shes still bothered by it. She can still walk but doctors said it will take 2 years for a full recovery. What can I do to help her along the way?

You might ask her this question, and learn whether she wants your help or not, for starters. You can also offer to help her with your son, which you should be doing anyway, as his father. Be supportive, but don't insist on being present or doing anything, if she prefers not to have you coming around. You should still have a relationship with your son and see him however. Good wishes,

I suspect leaving her alone might be helpful. She can deal with your (posted) mental health problems right now.

You ask her.
